What God Is Doing
We are excited to share the great news! Years ago, God enabled us to acquire a five-acre property where we opened a faith-based recovery home for men, recently re-named, “Mel’s Home” after Bishop Samuel’s spiritual father and mentor, Bishop Amelio “Mel” Martinez. The Lord has empowered us to transform the lives of hundreds of men and He continues to show His Hand is on our ministry by sending more men to Mel’s Home and continuing to prosper us. We have also been blessed with the space to create an additional re-entry phase on another nearby campus, so that our graduates may live independently after recovery while still transitioning to purposeful and productive lives on their own.
On February 20, 2020, We were also able to open a new women’s home modeled after the same values and called Ana’s Home, in honor of Bishop Samuel’s spiritual mother, Rev. Ana Martinez. The Lord brought us wonderful staff and new students in the right timing. To see what God is doing there see: http://www.anashome.net
Many churches in the area have come alongside us to partner with us in reaching the generations with the hope of Christ and we are thankful for their support. We look to the Lord to bring the provision for our current expansion projects as He places it on the hearts of His people to support His work.
You can help make our new ventures possible by contributing as the Lord leads. Call (352) 399-8504 to donate to the new women’s home fund. Call (352) 748-1221 to donate to the general ministry fund. We accommodate credit, cash, or check donations. All gifts are cash deductible. Thank you for your support.
We are all the hands and feet of Jesus in this world. Would you ask the Lord to show you what your part is in reaching out to these men and women?
